Supporting the well-being of our communities is fundamental to First Citizens' vision and approach. The devastating impacts of Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton will be affecting many of our customers, communities and colleagues for years to come. Our hearts and minds are with them all.
In an effort to support these communities, we're pulling together programs and services on behalf of the individuals, families and towns harmed by Helene and Milton. Communities
First Citizens has committed $3.5 million in donations and financial support for humanitarian relief in the affected regions with a combination of local and regional support across a variety of organizations, including United Way, a long-time First Citizens partner.
Colleagues
Our colleagues in our branches who serve our customers and communities have been equally impacted by Helene and Milton. We're establishing support at scale for our impacted associates and working to deliver needed supplies, pending local accessibility.
